Notes: The choir sings in canon style with relatively heavy reverb (cathedral venue), which give a sense of constant motion (the spinning wheel), with a one bar gap between voice parts in the first theme, then expanding to two and then three bar gaps between voice parts in subsequent themes (to give a sense of increasing space.)

Notes: “Requiem.” literally translated from Latin to mean “rest,” usually in the context of a mass for the dead, which is mostly the case in this piece, but not strictly so. It also could simply mean music to relax (rest) to.
